FAQ

do you offer any discounts?
yes! i proudly offer a first responder discount as a thank-you to those who serve our communities — and because my husband is a first responder himself, this one is especially close to my heart. if you or your partner are a first responder, just let me know when booking and i’ll apply the discount to your session.
Do you offer wedding photography?
not at this time — i don’t currently take on full wedding days. this is a personal choice, as i’m still building the gear (and experience) i’d want in order to feel 100% confident photographing such a big, once-in-a-lifetime event.
that said, i am actively looking for opportunities as a second shooter, and i happily take on courthouse ceremonies, elopements, and small intimate celebrations. if you’re planning something low-key, simple, or non-traditional, definitely reach out — i’d love to chat about capturing it.
Do you have an indoor studio?
no i don’t have my own personal studio at this time, but i do have access to several shared spaces and indoor locations that are perfect for indoor mini sessions or cozy, weather-proof shoots. if you’re wanting something indoors, just let me know — i can recommend options that fit the vibe you’re going for.
what is your turn around time?
my official turnaround time is up to one week — this gives me plenty of space to edit thoughtfully, handle busier seasons, and make sure every image looks its best.
that said… if my schedule is light (and let’s be real, i get excited), i often deliver galleries much sooner — sometimes within a day or two. just think of faster delivery as a happy surprise, not a guarantee!
either way, you’ll always know when to expect your photos, and i’ll keep communication open from start to finish.
are you an inclusive and safe-space photographer?
yes — absolutely. rose & oak is a fully lgbtq+ affirming, neurodivergent-friendly, judgment-free space. everyone deserves to feel comfortable, respected, and celebrated during their session.
i proudly welcome queer couples, trans and nonbinary clients, and anyone who wants photos that feel true to who they are. i also understand the unique needs of neurodivergent clients — as a neurodivergent person myself, i take comfort and flexibility seriously.
if you have sensory needs, anxiety, social discomfort, pronoun preferences, communication needs, or anything at all that would make your session easier, please tell me. i’m happy to adjust lighting, pacing, breaks, posing, noise levels, or the overall vibe to help you feel at ease.
your identity, your comfort, and your story matter here — always. and whatever you need, i’ve got your back. 🌈✨
